Bui Photography

It has been too long since I’ve updated this site. There has been many things going on; but now is the time to devote some serious time. Richard Bui Photography is back in full swing with a new design and soon to showcase more photos.

Please bear with the slight mess as I complete some of the menu items and links. We will be fully operational very shortly. In the meantime, feel free to look around and send us a comment.

Continue checking back frequently, as I have some surprises in store.

The 2nd Annual SCRC Summit was a huge success! Over 250 people pre-registered and over 300 people showed up at SFSU’s Jack Adams Hall. Notable speakers included, Public Defender Jeff Adachi, District Attorney Kamala Harris, Sheriff Michael Hennessey, Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, Supervisor Sophie Maxwell, and Mayor Gavin Newsom.

Key note speaker, Luiz Rodriquez was an amazing and passionate speaker. I have uploaded to Flickr 28 of 203 pics I took at the event.

I will have the opportunity to photograph the Safe Communities Reentry Council event September 19, 2007 at San Francisco State University. Some key individuals that will be there are: Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and Public Defender Jeff Adachi.

Luis J. Rodriguez will be the keynote speaker. Anyone interested in attending, please register.

Here are a few shots I took of Jeff Adachi, the Public Defender for City and County of San Francisco. This was an office training on how to cross exam gang experts. Camera used was Canon EOS 5D with the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM.

I have always liked the Golden Gate Bridge. Something about it, like all bridges, that seems to be just bring things together. I have always been trying to find unique ways to capture the Golden Gate Bridge, but when you are there looking through the viewfinder, it’s hard not to be captured by the magnificence of it. So here are just a few simple snaps for the time being.

There are also some shots I took while I was exploring Grandview Park.
